Styled after the popular Cessna 182, the F949 features a classic high-wing layout naturally promotes stability. The high-mounted wing helps the aircraft self-level in flight, while the wide wingspan relative to weight allows smooth gliding performance. The compact 500mm wingspan makes this aircraft suitable for both outdoor flying and indoor spaces such as sports halls.

New Auto-Pilot Gyro Stabilisation System

This latest version includes an integrated gyro-based auto-pilot system that constantly monitors the aircraft's attitude. The gyro automatically corrects pitch and roll deviations, helping to prevent stalls, spirals, and over-correction. For beginners, this dramatically reduces crashes and improves confidence, acting like an invisible instructor during flight.

Exceptional Flight Time & Efficient Power System

The F949 is powered by a coreless brushed motor, chosen for its excellent efficiency and smooth power delivery. Combined with the included 3.7V 500mAh Li-Po battery, the aircraft can achieve flight times of up to 25 minutes, depending on throttle use and flying conditions. This allows much longer flying sessions compared to typical beginner RC planes.

Adjustable Rudder for Skill Progression

A unique feature of the F949 is its adjustable rudder system, which allows pilots to alter the airflow over the tail surfaces. This makes it possible to fine-tune the aircraft's handling characteristics and gradually introduce more advanced manoeuvres such as:
