The WL Toys A380 is a visually striking scale model inspired by the iconic Airbus A380 passenger jet. With its wide wingspan, distinctive fuselage profile, and airliner-style proportions, the aircraft stands out both on the ground and in the air. Beginner-Friendly Flight Stabilisation System

An integrated autopilot flight stabilisation gyro continuously monitors the aircraft's orientation and applies automatic corrections to pitch and roll. This system greatly reduces the likelihood of stalls, overcorrection, and loss of control, allowing beginners to focus on basic flight skills such as throttle management and gentle turns.

As pilot experience grows, the stabilisation system can be disabled via the transmitter, enabling a more hands-on flying experience and allowing simple manoeuvres and faster directional changes.

Smooth Twin-Motor Power Configuration

The aircraft is powered by two 0716 brushed motors, providing even thrust distribution across the wings. This twin-motor setup enhances directional stability and produces smooth acceleration, making take-offs calm and predictable. The balanced power deliver also contributes to steady cruising flight and controlled descents

Lightweight, Impact-Resistant EPP Construction

The airframe is manufactured from EPP (Expanded Polypropylene) foam, a material widely used in RC aviation for its excellent shock-absorbing properties, EPP foam flexes under impact and returns to shape, helping to minimise damage from hard landings or beginner mistakes while keeping the aircraft lightweight and efficient.

Flexible Take-Off Options

The A380 can be launched in two ways depending on the flying environment. It is capable of ground take-off from smooth, flat surfaces for added realism, or it can be hand launched for quick flights in open areas where runways are not available.

Reliable 2.4 GHz Radio Control System

The included 2.4 GHz transmitter provides a strong, stable control signal with a range of up to 200 metres. Frequency-hopping technology allows multiple aircraft to be flown in the same area without interference, making it suitable for group flying sessions. The control layout is intuitive and designed to be easy for new pilots to learn.

Ready-to-Fly Convenience

Supplied fully assembled, the WL Toys A380 requires no complex setup. With the aircraft, transmitter, 3.7V lithium battery, USB charger, and manual included, pilots can be airborne within minutes of opening the box.
