The Slim's Foam Lance is a professional-grade detailing tool designed to implement the most critical stage of the car cleaning process: the touchless pre-wash. In a standard wash, most paint damage occurs when dirt is dragged across the lacquer by a wash mitt. This lance solves that problem by generating a thick, stable foam that clings to vertical panels for an extended period. During this "dwell time", the cleaning agents chemically encapsulate road grime, traffic film, and bird droppings, pulling them away from the surface so they can be safely pressure-rinsed off before you ever touch the vehicle.

Advanced Venturi and Aeration Mechanics

Internally, the lance utilises a high-velocity venturi system. As high-pressure water from toy machine passes through the narrow internal orifice, it creates a significant drop in pressure that draws concentrated cleaning chemicals from the reservoir. This mixture is then forced through a premium stainless steel mesh atomiser. This aeration process is what differentiates this lance from standard soap dispensers found on entry-level pressure washers; it injects air into the chemical stream to create a "shaving foam" consistency that won't simply run off the car, ensuring the chemicals have maximum time to work on grime.

Precision Engineering and Component Quality

The main body of the lance is machined from heavy duty solid brass, chosen for its resistance to the corrosive nature of many cleaning chemicals its ability to withstand pressures of up to 160 bar (2300 PSI). The spray head is housed in a durable, UV0-resistant polymer casing and features adjustable internal stainless steel vanes. By twisting the front nozzle, the user can change the spray pattern from a 0° pencil jet - ideal for cleaning deep within wheel arches or chassis rails - to a 40° wide-angle fan for rapid, even coverage of the roof and bonnet.

Ergonomics and Versatility

Designed with the user in mind, the bottle features a wide-neck design for easy filling and a stable base to prevent the lance from becoming top-heavy and tipping over. The top-mounted control knob features a tactile grip, allowing for "on-the-fly" adjustments even while wearing wash mitts or gloves. This allows the user to lean the mixture out for maintenance washes, or concentrate the mixture for heavily soiled commercial vehicles.
