Heavy scratches from sanding, impacts, or surface work require aggressive cutting action that mild polishes cannot provide. Super Cut Compound's formulation prioritises cutting power, removing material efficiently and completely rather than relying on fillers to mask defects temporarily. Twisted Wool Pad Compatibility

Application Instructions

Prepare the work surface. Ensure the gel coat, fibreglass, or clear coat surface is clean and dry, free of loose contamination or previous product residue.

Select appropriate rotary buffer settings. Use a high-speed rotary buffer capable of sustained operation at appropriate RPM for compound cutting action.

Install a 100% twisted wool cutting pad. Ensure the wool pad is secure and of high quality for optimal cutting action and finish.

Apply compound to the wool pad. Dispense a sufficient amount of Super Cut Compound directly onto the cutting pad—avoid over-saturation.

Spread compound across a section. Using the rotary buffer at moderate speed and light pressure, spread the compound evenly across a 2–3 square foot work area.

Increase speed and apply cutting action. Once spread, increase the buffer speed to appropriate RPM for cutting action, applying moderate to firm pressure.

Work until defects diminish. Continue working the compound until scratches fade and the finish transitions from a hazy cutting appearance to a glossier reflection, indicating cutting action is complete.

Inspect the correction results. Wipe away compound residue with a clean cloth and inspect the corrected surface under bright light to assess defect removal.

Move to adjacent sections. Work systematically across the entire surface, section by section, maintaining consistent technique and pressure.

Clean the wool pad between sections. Remove trapped compound residue from the pad to maintain optimal cutting performance.

Once cutting is complete, follow with Presta Ultra Polish. After correction with Super Cut Compound, apply Presta Ultra Polish to maximise gloss and shine and refine the finish.

Allow proper cure time. Once polishing is complete, allow surfaces to cure adequately before additional treatment or use.
