Mild Cleaning During Finishing

Correction compound application leaves some residue on the paint surface. Rather than requiring separate cleaning before protection application, the finishing wax's mild cleaners address this during the finishing step, streamlining the workflow and reducing product consumption and labour time.

Dual-Action Machine Integration

The wax is engineered specifically for Meguiar's MT300 Dual-Action Polisher and compatible microfibre finishing discs. This integration ensures optimal performance through pad and formulation synergy—the machine, pad, and product work together to deliver consistent, professional-quality results.

No-Sling and Low-Dust Chemistry

Sling-off—product flinging off surfaces during high-speed rotation—creates cleanup challenges and wasted product. Application Instructions

Complete correction compound application first. Ensure D300 Correction Compound has been fully applied, buffed, and inspected before proceeding to finishing wax.

Allow any required cure time from compound. If compound requires dwell time between application and finishing, allow adequate time before proceeding.

Install the Meguiar's DA Microfibre Finishing Disc. Secure a compatible finishing disc (DMF3, DMF5, or DMF6) onto the MT300 Dual-Action Polisher according to machine instructions.

Apply finishing wax to the polishing disc. Dispense a small amount of wax directly onto the microfibre finishing disc—avoid over-saturation.

Spread the wax across a section. Using the polisher at low speed, distribute the wax evenly across approximately 2–3 square feet of paint without applying downward pressure.

Increase speed and apply finishing action. Once spread, increase the polisher speed to appropriate setting and apply light to moderate pressure to refine the finish and remove correction compound residue.

Work until the finish appears refined and glossy. Continue the finishing action until the paint transitions from a hazy correction appearance to a refined, high-gloss finish.

Wipe away excess with a single buffing pass. Using a clean microfibre cloth, complete one-pass buffing to remove all wax residue and reveal the final high-gloss finish.

Inspect results under bright light. Check the polished section to confirm even gloss and satisfactory finishing results.

Move to adjacent sections and repeat. Work systematically across the entire vehicle, maintaining consistent technique and pressure across all painted surfaces.

Allow curing time. Once finishing is complete, allow several hours before exposing the vehicle to water or harsh conditions.
