Description

High-Speed Paint Correction for Professionals
Eliminating deep paint marring, severe environmental etching, and heavy body shop sanding marks traditionally requires intensive passes with standard cutting compounds. Koch Chemie Heavy Cut H9.02 introduces a highly efficient formula designed specifically for fast-paced professional environments. Operating at an extreme 9.0 cut level, this heavy compound rapidly cuts through thick oxidation and levels P1200 grit sanding traces. It allows technicians to restore deeply compromised clear coats with heavily reduced physical effort, making it an indispensable staple tool for major vehicle restorations.

Precision Abrasives and Finish Quality
Aggressive cutting compounds frequently leave behind intense compounding haze and micro-marring that require multiple secondary polishing stages to resolve. Koch Chemie addresses this issue by utilizing exceptionally homogeneous abrasive grains. As the machine pad works the panel, these uniform minerals break down smoothly and consistently. This intelligent abrasive action levels severe defects while simultaneously finishing down to a surprising 6.0 gloss level, drastically reducing the time required during follow-up polishing stages.

Outstanding Machine Workability
In commercial detailing bays, compound dusting creates massive cleanup headaches, embedding fine powder into unsealed panel gaps and freshly cleaned engine bays. H9.02 is specifically engineered for low dust formation and an extended working window. The specialized liquid remains smooth and wet on the panel, allowing operators to run variable-speed rotary or dual-action polishers for prolonged passes without the pad grabbing or hopping. Supplied in highly practical 250ml and 1-litre sizes, it delivers uncompromised reliability across soft vintage lacquers and modern scratch-proof clear coats alike.

More Information

Application Instructions

Panel Preparation: Thoroughly wash, decontaminate, and clay the vehicle paintwork to ensure the surface is entirely free of bonded road grit before machine polishing. Tape off unpainted plastic trim and rubber window seals.

Pad Selection & Dispensing: For extreme defect removal and sanding traces between P1200 and P2500, pair H9.02 with a professional rotary polisher and a premium lambskin wool pad. For moderate-to-heavy correction and sanding marks between P1500 and P3000, use a dedicated coarse Heavy Cut foam pad. Apply 3 to 4 pea-sized drops of compound directly to the pad face.

Machine Polishing: Spread the compound across a manageable 2-foot by 2-foot section at low speed. Increase the machine to medium speed and apply firm, even pressure, working the panel in overlapping crosswise passes until the compound breaks down into a thin, translucent film.

Wipe-Down & Refinement: Wipe away the spent compound residue immediately using a clean, dry microfibre cloth. To achieve an ultimate, deep mirror finish free of holograms, follow up with a finishing pass using Koch Chemie Micro Cut M3.02 or Micro Cut & Finish P3.01.
