High-Precision 540 Motor and Electronic Speed Control

The XSTR is equipped with a powerful 540 brushed motor, designed to deliver strong torque and reliable performance for off-road racing. An integrated aluminium heat sink helps dissipate heat and maintain peak operating temperature during extended runs.

The motor is paired with a HSP 03018 ESC, offering full proportional throttle control in both forward and reverse, enabling smooth power delivery and responsive handling on all terrain types.

Waterproof Electronics for All-Weather Use

To ensure consistent reliability in variable conditions, the buggy includes a waterproof receiver and waterproof steering servo. This provides robust protection against water spray, wet grass, and puddles on outdoor tracks, maintaining control precision even in damp environments.

4WD Drivetrain with Aluminium Components

A core strength of the XSTRE is its full-time 4-wheel drive system, supported by a strong aluminium central drive shaft that transfers power evenly to the front and rear differentials.

Both the front and rear diffs are engineered for smooth torque distribution, improving cornering stability and reducing slippage on loose surfaces. The inclusion of an aluminium upper chassis increases structural rigidity, reducing chassis flex and enhancing handling performance under load.

Adjustable Oil-Filled Aluminium Shock System

The buggy is fitted with four aluminium-capped, oil-filled shock absorbers, mounted to tough aluminium shock towers. Shock angle and tension can be adjusted to suit terrain and driving style, providing versatile suspension characteristics for rough off-road surfaces, jumps, and high-speed cornering stability.

Anti-Skid Tyres and Aerodynamic Wing

Specially designed anti-skid off-road tyres provide excellent traction on dirt, grase, gravel, and tarmac. The tyres are mounted on durable chrome-plated rims for a premium appearance and strong structural integrity.

A functional rear wing with airflow vents helps stabilise the rear end at higher speeds by providing downforce while reducing drag, improving both straight-line stability and cornering grip.

Rigid Construction and Upgrade Potential

The XTSR includes a reinforced aluminium radio tray, heavy-duty drivetrain components and a strong composite chassis designed for durability.

This model is also hghly upgradeable - users can install brushless motor systems, high-capacity Li-Po batteries, and performance driveline components to dramatically increase speed and acceleration. Its modular design makes maintenance straightforward and encourages long-term hobby development.
