The HSP Trojan is powered by a robust RC380 brushed motor, engineered to deliver strong low-end torque and responsive acceleration for a 1/16 scale platform. An aluminium heat sink is mounted to the motor to absorb thermal energy, allowing the motor to run cooler and maintain optimal performance during long driving sessions. This helps extend motor life and ensures consistent output whether racing on hard surfaces or navigating off-road terrain.

Waterproof Electronics for All-Weather Driving

To ensure dependability across varied conditions, the Trojan features a waterproof electronic speed controller (ESC), waterproof servo, and waterproof receiver. These components are sealed against splashes and moisture, providing resistance to water ingress when driving through puddles or in lightly wet environments. This level of protection enhances reliability and allows drivers to enjoy consistent control regardless of weather.

4WD System Front and Rear Differentials

The model is built around a full-time 4-wheel drive system, supported by a strong aluminium central drive system, supported by a strong aluminium central drive shaft for efficient power transfer to both axles. Front and rear differentials provide smooth cornering by allowing the wheels on each axle to rotate at different speeds, greatly improving handling stability, traction, and steering precision. This drivetrain configuration enables capable off-road performance and balance handling at higher speeds.

Adjustable Aluminium Suspension Components

The Trojan features oil-filled aluminium-capped shocks, allowing you to fine-tune suspension characteristics to suit your driving terrain. The shocks are mounted using ball joints to provide controlled flex, improving impact absorption and wheel articulation over uneven ground. A reinforced aluminium shock tower provides structural rigidity, supporting consistent suspension geometry during high-load manoeuvres.

High-Grip Tyres and Aerodynamic Wing

Equipped with specially treaded off-road tyres, the Trojan delivers strong grip on dirt, grass, and loose surfaces while maintaining stable behaviour on tarmac. The buggy also includes a functional rear spoiler, designed with ventilation holes to reduce drag and increase downforce, enhancing stability during high-speed running.

Durability and Impact Protection

To withstand rough handling and accidental impacts, the model includes front and rear protective bumpers. These absorb collision forces and protect key chassis components during misjudged jumps or high-speed racing situations, extending the model’s overall lifespan.

Reliable 2.4GHz Radio Control System
