The HSP Racing Bug Crusher PRO is built on the proven Bug Crusher chassis but elevated with a full suite of premium upgrades already installed. Designed for serious hobbyists and demanding off-road use, this PRO version incorporates the strongest and most performance-oriented components available from the HSP option range. The model arrives RTR, with all critical performance hop-ups fitted at the factory to deliver superior handling, improved durability, and a sharper racing response straight out of the box.

Aluminium Performance Upgrade System

A full array of blue anodised aluminium components replaces the standard plastic and steel elements found on the base model. These include the upper chassis deck, upper and lower suspension arms, front suspension assemblies, extra-deep wheel hexes, threaded shock bodies, and high-grade pro shock absorbers. These components provide increased rigidity, reduced flex under load, longer service life, and enhanced stability when pushing the vehicle at higher speeds or across uneven surfaces.

Enhanced Drivetrain and Handling

The PRO delivers smoother drivetrain motion through front steel universal driveshafts, offering greater articulation and reduced binding during suspension travel. Combined with the precision pivot-ball suspension system, adjustable camber and toe angles, and a reliable 4WD shaft-drive system, the Bug Crusher PRO maximises traction and stability across loose, rough, or uneven terrain. The slipper clutch protects the spur gear during heavy acceleration, while the fibre disc brake provides consistent, fade-resistant stopping power.

High-Performance .18 SH Nitro Engine

At its core, the model features a powerful .18 SH nitro engine, engineered for strong low-end torque, stable idle, and reliable top-end performance. These engines are widely recognised for their reliability, user-friendly tuning characteristics, and ability to deliver sustained power during off-road bashing or competitive racing. A hollow lightweight flywheel and polished aluminium tuned pipe further improve throttle response and power delivery.

Electronics and Control System

The included 2.4GHz wheel-type controller ensures interference-free operation and allows multiple vehicles to run simultaneously without frequency conflicts. Waterproof servos and receiver components enable the Bug Crusher PRO to handle wet grass, damp ground, and light water splashes without compromising functionality. A rechargeable electronics battery pack and mains charger are included, providing a significant control upgrade over standard AA-powered electronics, offering faster and more precise servo actuation.

Durable RTR Monster Truck Chassis

Constructed on a 2.5mm anodised aluminium chassis, the platform is engineered for impact resistance and torsional strength. The model includes a 75cc fuel tank with splash gurad, 8 oil-filled shocks with anodised caps, tough electroplated wheels with off-road tyres, and an enclosed radio box to safeguard sensitive electronics. The factory-finished pickup body shell completes the PRO package, offering a race-inspired appearance with pre-applied decals.
