Compact but Capable 1/18 Scale Chassis

The HSP Beam is a pocket-sized off-road performer, designed to deliver maximum fun in a highly portable platform. Its compact footprint - just 245mm in length - makes it easy to transport and perfect for spontaneous racing sessions anywhere, indoors or outdoors.

Despite its small size, the Beam features a sturdy plastic tub chassis with countersunk screws to prevent snagging on uneven surfaces. The chassis design provides excellent structural rigidity and houses the electronics cleanly with minimal exposed wiring.

4WD Drivetrain with Front and Rear Differentials

For superior traction and improved handling, the Beam is equipped with full-time four-wheel drive, distributing power evenly to all wheels.

Working front and rear differentials allow each wheel to rotate at different speeds during cornering, dramatically improving steering performance and stability on a range of surfaces - from smooth floors to gravel, grass, and dirt. This drivetrain layout gives the Beam genuine hobby-grade performance in a super compact size.

Independent Suspension with Long Coil Shocks

The buggy features independent suspension on all four corners, using long pivot ball coil shocks to provide impressive travel and bump absorption.

Drivers can choose from two shock-angle mounting positions, allowing quick adaptation between smoother or rougher terrain. This provides excellent body control, reduces chassis bounce, and ensures predictable handling at high speeds.

Integrated Electronics for Clean Design and Simplicity

Space efficiency is critical on a 1/18 chassis, so the Beam uses a clever integrated system combining the 2.4GHz receiver, electronic speed controller, and steering servo into a single compact unit. This reduces wiring clutter while maintaining full proportional control of both throttle and steering. An easy-to-access on/off switch is mounted cleanly on the side of the chassis for convenience.

Rechargeable Battery System for Clean, Quiet Running

The Beam runs on a removeable rechargeable battery pack, secured using a simple strap-and-clip mechanism for quick swapping and recharging.

Being fully electric, the buggy produces no exhaust fumes and minimal noise, making it ideal for indoor use, younger drivers, or anyone wanting effortless operation without fuel, tuning, or cleaning concerns.
