High-Articulation Crawler Architecture

This 1:10 scale HSP rock crawler is engineered specifically for technical crawling rather than high-speed running. Its CWR2 metal multi-link chassis provides excellent suspension geometry, maintaining tyre contact and traction even on highly irregular surfaces. The heavy-duty twin-vertical plate structure enhances rigidity while allowing the suspension links to operate freely under extreme articulation.

Precision 4-Wheel Steering System (4WS)

One of the crawler's standout features is its four-wheel steering capability. The included 2.4 GHz transmitter incorporates an LCD steering selector, enabling users to instantly choose between:

• Front-wheel steering (standard).
• Same-direction four-wheel steering (tight radius manoeuvres).
• Opposite-direction four-wheel steering (crab steering for sideways movement and obstacle negotiation).

This provides unmatched control when navigating crags, tight gaps, or multi-angle rock surfaces, making the crawler suitable for both competition courses and recreational climbing.

Aluminium Long-Stroke Suspension and Metal Driveline Components

The crawler is equipped with four aluminium long-stroke shock absorbers, each tuned for slow, controlled rebound to maintain traction on vertical or uneventerrain. The shocks and multi-link suspension work together to prevent chassis roll and maximise control.

The drivetrain is reinforced with telescoping/sliding driveshafts, steel linkages, rigid axles, and locked front and rear spool differentials, ensuring torque is delivered equally to all wheels for maximum climbing ability.

High-Grip Tyres and Low-Speed Torque Control

Mounted with extra-grippy off-road climbing tyres, the crawler offers stable traction whether scaling rocks, navigating loose gravel or crossing wooded trails. The tyres' robust sidewalls and deep tread pattern help prevent slippage and maintain control over sharp edges and steep surfaces.

The crawler's RC540 brushed motor, combined with the 1:48 gear ratio, delivers the high torque output needed for controlled crawling. This low speed gearing setup allows the model to ascend steep grades with precision rather than brute speed.

Waterproof Electronics and Rugged Reliability

Equipped with waterproof ESC, servo, and receiver, the crawler is capable of handling wet trails, muddy riverbeds, or damp rock surfaces without compromising functionality. The 3kg high-torque steering servo is mounted directly on the axle for instantaneous steering response, essential for technical driving.
