Modern Main Battle Tank - Scale Realism

This Heng Long Leopard II A6 is a detailed radio-controlled replica of one of the world's most advanced modern main battle tanks. Finished with a factory-applied paint scheme and fitted with a realistic commander figure, the model captures the aggressive stance and clean lines of the full-size Leopard II A6, making it equally impressive in motion or on display.

Latest 2.4 GHz Radio Control System

Equipped with Heng Long's modern 2.4 GHz digital radio system, this tank benefits from greater signal stability, improved accuracy, and longer usable range compared to older FM systems. The technology allows multiple tanks to operate simultaneously without frequency conflicts, making it ideal for group battles or club use.

BB Firing Cannon with Recoil Action

The Leopard II A6 features an automatic airsoft BB firing system that shoots 6mm plastic BBs to a range of approximately 10 metres. The cannon includes a simulated recoil action, adding a physical jolt to each shot for enhanced realism. The internal magazine holds around 20 BBs, suitable for extended play before reloading.

Smoke Generator and Advanced Sound System

A built-in smoke generator produces visible exhaust smoke during operation, bringing the model to life. The integrated sound system reproduces realistic audio effects including:

  • Engine start-up and running sounds.
  • Main cannon firing sound.
  • Machine gun firing sound.

Sound volume is adjustable, allowing the tank to be enjoyed both indoors and outdoors without becoming overwhelming.

Fully Proportional Drive and Realistic Suspension

Unlike basic RC tanks that operate at fixed speeds, this model offers fully proportional speed control in both forward and reverse. The independently driven tracks allow:

  • Smooth turns.
  • Tight pivot turning on the spot.
  • Confident manoeuvring over uneven terrain.

A realistic suspension system and proper linked tracks help the tank climb gradients of up to approximately 35 degrees, depending on surface conditions.

Functional Turret and Gun Movement

The turret rotates smoothly through approximately 320 degrees, while the main gun can be elevated and depressed by around 20-30 degrees. Flashing lights on the main gun and machine gun further enhance realism during firing sequences.

Long Runtime and Ready-to-Run Convenience

Powered by a 7.2V 2000mAh Ni-MH rechargeable battery, the tank delivers up to 30 minutes of runtime per charge under typical use. Supplied fully assembled with battery and charger, only standard AA batteries are required for the transmitter.
