Application Instructions

  1. Prepare the vehicle — Work in shade or under cover, away from direct sunlight. This prevents the product from drying too quickly and allows better penetration.
  2. Shake the bottle well — Ensure the formula is thoroughly mixed before use. Wear gloves to protect your hands.
  3. Spray onto affected areas — Apply GTechniq W8 generously onto bug splatter on windscreens, paint, and glass surfaces. Spray a light mist over the entire affected area.
  4. Allow dwell time — Let the product sit for 3–5 minutes without rinsing. This allows the formula to break down and dissolve the insect proteins.
  5. Rinse thoroughly — Rinse the treated area with clean water, using moderate water pressure. For windscreens, use windscreen wash or clean water to rinse.
  6. Repeat if necessary — For stubborn or heavy splatter, repeat the spray, dwell, and rinse process. For extreme cases, gently agitate the surface with a soft microfibre buff cloth before rinsing.
