The coating works by exchanging a portion of its molecular structure with the surface molecules of your vehicle’s plastic trim. This process creates a covalent bond, essentially making the restorer an extension of the plastic itself. Tradespeople and detailing professionals will appreciate the structural integrity this offers, guaranteeing unparalleled durability and resistance against standard wash chemicals and environmental fallout.

Ultra-Thin, Natural Appearance
Many aftermarket trim restorers leave behind a greasy, high-gloss residue that attracts dust and looks artificial. C4 stands out by forming an exceptionally thin, optically clear film measuring roughly 30 nanometers in thickness. This ultra-thin barrier guarantees that the original factory finish of the plastic is restored and preserved, delivering a clean, OEM-quality matte look without an unattractive glossy sheen.

Comprehensive Protection for All Trim Ages
Whether you are dealing with heavily oxidised plastics or taking preventative measures on a new vehicle, this coating excels. It penetrates deeply into the pores of faded trim to draw out and restore its original deep colour. Simultaneously, for new cars, it acts as a sacrificial barrier, shielding the pristine plastic from the sun's harsh UV rays, extreme temperatures, and road grime, completely preventing the fading process before it even begins.

Application Instructions

  1. Preparation: Ensure you have the correct volume for your vehicle's needs (e.g., 15ml for smaller cars like a Golf, 30ml for vehicles with extensive trim like a Mini). Work in a well-ventilated space out of direct sunlight, ensuring temperatures remain above 5°C. Wear the provided protective gloves.
  2. Cleaning: The surface must be entirely free of contaminants. Clean the trim thoroughly with a neat solution of an All-Purpose Cleaner, using a medium-stiff brush if needed. Rinse thoroughly and allow the surface to become completely cool and dry to the touch.
  3. Application: Soak the supplied lint-free applicator pad with several drops of the C4 liquid. Spread the coating evenly across the surface of the trim.
  4. Buffing: Immediately after spreading the product onto a single piece of trim, gently wipe away the residue using a clean microfibre buffing cloth. Pay special attention to heavily textured plastics, ensuring all crevices are coated and any excess residue is fully removed.
  5. Curing: Allow the applied coating to cure undisturbed for 12 hours before exposing the vehicle to the elements.


Note: Avoid direct application to rubbers and glass. Once opened, use the product within 3 months. Unopened bottles have a shelf life of 12 months. Store in a cool, dry place.
