GTechniq C2 Ceramic Sealant

1. Prepare clean, dry paintwork — Wash the vehicle thoroughly with a quality car shampoo (such as GTechniq GWash W1) and allow to dry completely. The surface must be clean and dry for optimal ceramic bonding and gloss results.
2. Allow paint to cool — Do not apply in direct sunlight or on hot surfaces. Allow the vehicle to cool to ambient temperature after washing or sun exposure.
3. Shake well before use — Mix C2 v4 thoroughly to ensure even consistency and optimal ceramic particle distribution.
4. Wear gloves — Protect your hands by wearing gloves during application and buffing.
5. Spray onto microfibre buff cloth — Spray the product onto a clean GTechniq MF1 ZeroR Microfibre Buff Cloth — do not spray directly onto the paint. Use a light application — the product is highly concentrated.
6. Apply panel by panel — Working one panel at a time, wipe the sealant onto the paint using straight-line motions. Cover the entire panel surface evenly with a light, uniform coating.
7. Buff with clean cloth immediately — Before the sealant begins to cure, use a second clean MF1 ZeroR Microfibre Buff Cloth to buff away the residue immediately. The goal is to remove all visible product residue whilst leaving a protective microscopic layer.
8. Layer for enhanced protection — For increased gloss and protection longevity, apply a second or even third layer. Allow each layer to cure briefly (2–3 minutes) before applying the next layer. The layers bond to one another, creating enhanced protection.
9. Alternative: use as drying aid — For rapid application or as a post-wash drying aid, spray C2 v4 onto wet surfaces panel by panel and immediately dry with a GTechniq MF4 Diamond Sandwich Microfibre Drying Towel. This applies protection whilst drying the vehicle in a single step.
10. Allow full curing — Once all panels are complete, allow the vehicle to cure for 12–24 hours before washing or exposing to rain. This allows the ceramic layer to fully harden.
