High-Output 30cc Petrol Engine for Realistic Performance

The Maurader is equipped with a powerful 30cc 2-stoke petrol engine, offering immense torque, rapid acceleration, and sustained top speed performance far exceeding electric or nitro equivalents. This engine runs on standard petrol mixed with 2-stroke oil, both readily available from any petrol station.

The large aluminium air filter ensures maximum airflow while protecting the engine internals from dust and debris - essential for high-load off-road environments. With a fuel capacity of 700cc, the truck delivers 20-30 minutes of run time per tank depending on throttle input and terrain.

Reinforced 1:5 Scale Chassis and Drivetrain Engineering

The Maurader's solid aluminium chassis employs countersunk screws and a centralised layout, placing both the engine and fuel tank along the centreline. This design provides exceptional balance, reducing chassis roll and improving stability under heavy acceleration.

Metal gears throughout the drivetrain, a newly designed metal-geared differential, and a clear drivetrain cover provide long-term durability, protecting moving components from dirt ingress while allowing visual inspection.

The vehicle is delivered as 2WD for strong rear-wheel drive characteristics, but is fully compatible with an optional 4WD conversion kit, enabling users to upgrade traction and handling at any time.

Precision Control with High-Torque Waterproof Servos

To manage the power of the 30cc engine, the model uses an upgraded 40kg/cm metal-gear steering servo, delivering high authority and resistance against kickback forces from rough terrain.

A 10kg throttle servo ensures consistent throttle modulation and reliable brake actuation.

Both servos are waterproof and dustproof, ensuring long-term reliability in harsh environments.

Large-Scale Suspension and Off-Road Geometry

The Marauder employs adjustable aluminium oil-filled shocks on each wheel, providing controlled damping across varied surfaces. The separated shock spring design contributes to enhanced jump absorption and improved chassis stability.

Newly improved lower suspension arms and a wide 520mm tyre track increase impact resistance and lateral stability.

The model rides on impact-resistant all-terrain tyres designed t handle dirt, gravel, grass, hardpack, and mixed off-road surfaces.

Realistic Desert Truck Features and Lighting System

A rear-mounted spare tyre, hatchback frame design, and rugged body styling give the Marauder a highly realistic desert-racer appearance.

Six built-in LEDs - four roof lights and two headlights - can be controlled via the transmitter to improve visibility during low-light conditions, making evening driving sessions both practical and exciting.

Advanced 2.4 GHz Control System with Rechargeable Receiver Pack

Included is a 3-channel lightweight 2.4 GHz transmitter featuring automatic code-hopping technology to eliminate signal interference when operating near other RC vehicles. Unlike many models requiring consumable AA batteries, the Marauder features a rechargeable Ni-MH receiver battery pack with charger, reducing running costs while ensuring reliable servo power delivery.

Ready-to-Run Out of the Box

The model arrives fully assembled and fitted with all electronics, servos, and drive components. Users only need to supply unleaded petrol, 2-stroke oil, and 8xAA batteries for the transmitter to begin operation.
