New-Generation 6-Axis Gyro Auto-Pilot System

At the heart of the Spitfire V2 is a 6-axis MEMS gyro stabilisation system, integrated into the upgraded Detrum MSR66A receiver. This system continuously monitors aircraft attitude and applies automatic corrections to maintain stable flight.

Pilots can select from four distinct flight modes:

• Gyro Off - full manual control for experienced pilots.
• Normal Mode - stabilised flight for general flying.
• Aerobatic Mode - reduced assistance for dynamic manoeuvres.
• Auto-Recovery (Auto Balance) - instantly returns the aircraft to level flight.

This flexibility allows pilots to grow their skills without changing aircraft.

Upgraded Detrum GAVIN-6A Transmitter

The included GAVIN-6A 2.4 GHz transmitter uses a combination of DSSS and FHSS technology, providing exceptional anti-interference performance and long-range signal reliability. High-resolution control sticks with 4096-step resolution deliver smooth, precise control inputs, while digital trims allow accurate setup. Additional features include:

• One-button gyro and mixing mode selection.
• Low-battery alarm.
• Switchable Mode 1 / Mode 2 operation.
• All-band antenna for improved transmission efficiency.

High-Performance Brushless Power System

The Spitfire V2 is powered by a BM2810CD KV1080 brushless outrunner motor, driving an efficient 8x6 three-blade propeller. This setup provides strong thrust, smooth acceleration, and excellent efficiency. The system is managed by a Detrum Pro 18A brushless ESC, ensuring reliable power delivery and consistent performance throughout the flight envelope.

Durable EPO Foam Construction

Manufactured from high-density EPO foam, the airframe combines strength, flexibility, and low weight. This material absorbs impact energy more effectively than traditional foams, improving crash resistance while keeping the flying weight to approximately 500g. The result is stable handling, gentle stall behaviour, and confidence-inspiring low-speed flight.
