- Extreme temperature environments (-35°C to +200°C)
✔ Benefits
- Temporary blue colour confirms complete coverage without permanent staining
- Non-dripping consistency stays exactly where applied on vertical and undersides
- Strong adhesion prevents migration from vibration and thermal cycling
- Extreme temperature range (-35°C to +200°C) eliminates seasonal lubricant swaps
- High-pressure resistant formulation protects bearings and chains under sustained load
Standard multipurpose lubricants migrate away from working surfaces under vibration and thermal stress, requiring frequent reapplication and creating maintenance uncertainty. Many products run or drip on vertical surfaces, making application inefficient and messy on customer-facing work.
CRC Multilube Pro addresses both with a non-dripping consistency and strong adhesion that keeps the product where applied, while the temporary blue colour indicator eliminates coverage uncertainty.
Key Features
- Temporary Blue Coverage Indicator — The temporary blue colour shows exactly where product has been applied, ensuring complete coverage without over-application. The colour gradually fades as the film cures, leaving a clear protective coating — ideal for professional work where appearance matters to customers and visibility during application is essential.
- Non-Dripping Consistency — The formulation stays in place on vertical surfaces, undersides, and complex assemblies without running, sagging, or dripping. Reduces waste, improves application precision, and makes the work cleaner and more controlled — particularly important in customer-facing installations where tidiness reflects professionalism.
- Strong Adhesion & Vibration Resistance — Strong adhesive properties resist vibration-induced creep and migration, meaning longer intervals between reapplication and more reliable protection in high-vibration environments. Parts stay lubricated far longer than with standard multipurpose oils, improving equipment reliability and reducing maintenance frequency.
- Extreme Temperature & High-Pressure Performance — Performs reliably from -35°C to +200°C (active product range), eliminating the need to stock different lubricants for summer and winter. Resists breakdown under sustained pressure and load, protecting bearings, chains, and mechanical linkages in demanding industrial conditions that degrade standard oils.

Description
Universal Substrate Compatibility and Water Resistance
Works on metal, plastic, rubber, and treated finishes without surface-specific preparation. Excellent water repellence protects outdoor equipment from moisture ingress and corrosion, crucial for components exposed to humidity, washing, or salt spray. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, from automotive work to exposed industrial machinery. Always test on delicate or stressed materials first.
Professional-Grade Formulation for Mixed-Application Environments
Designed for technicians who need a single, reliable lubricant across hundreds of maintenance tasks. The transparent base allows visual inspection of the lubricated component for contamination or wear without removing the protective film — a significant advantage in diagnostic and maintenance work. Particularly valuable in customer-facing installations where professional appearance directly affects customer perception of work quality.
Thermal Stability in Real-World Conditions
The wide operating range from -35°C to +200°C means this single product performs reliably whether applied during a winter morning repair, a hot engine bay installation, or on industrial equipment subject to repeated thermal cycling. This temperature versatility eliminates the complexity of seasonal product selection and improves workflow efficiency on varied job sites.
More Information
Application Instructions
- Assess the component and environment — Identify the part requiring lubrication (bearing, hinge, chain, guide rail, mechanism). Note whether it will experience pressure, load, or vibration during operation, and consider the typical ambient temperature range.
- Clean the surface thoroughly — Wipe the component with a clean, dry cloth to remove dust, dirt, and any old or degraded lubricant. Surface cleanliness ensures the new product bonds properly and performs optimally. Remove any loose corrosion with a soft brush if necessary.
- Apply a thin, even film — Apply CRC Multilube Pro to the working surface using an appropriate applicator (brush, dropper, spray, or dispenser). Watch the temporary blue colour develop to confirm coverage — ensure all working surfaces are evenly coated without over-application.
- Work the product into the mechanism — For bearings, chains, and linkages, gently move or rotate the component several times to distribute the lubricant throughout. This ensures it reaches all moving surfaces and forms a continuous protective film across the entire assembly.
- Allow curing and fade — Allow several minutes for the product to penetrate and bond to the substrate. The temporary blue colour will gradually fade, leaving a clear protective film. This fade confirms proper curing. Wipe excess product away with a clean cloth if appearance is important.

FAQs
What does the temporary blue colour do and how long does it stay?
The temporary blue colour visually confirms where you've applied the product, preventing missed spots or over-application. The colour gradually fades as the protective film cures, leaving a clear coating that won't stain surfaces. This fade process takes several minutes and indicates proper curing progression.
Can I use this lubricant on electrical connections or in wet environments?
Yes, its excellent water repellence makes it suitable for outdoor equipment and moisture-exposed areas. For critical high-voltage connections, confirm whether a non-conductive lubricant is required. For general mechanical parts — hinges, latches, chains, bearings — it provides reliable long-term corrosion protection in wet or humid conditions.
Will this product damage plastics, rubbers, or delicate painted finishes?
It's safe on most substrates including plastics, rubbers, and coatings. Always test on sensitive or stressed materials in an inconspicuous area before full application. Refer to the Safety Data Sheet for specific material compatibility if you have concerns about a particular finish.
How often do I need to reapply CRC Multilube Pro?
In light-duty automotive work with normal operating conditions, annual or bi-annual reapplication is typical. High-wear, high-temperature, or high-load industrial environments need more frequent reapplication. Visually inspect the lubricated component periodically — if the protective film appears degraded or friction and noise return, it's time to reapply.
