⚙ Ideal For
- Motorcycle chains
- Bicycle chains
- Industrial chain drives
- Farm and tractor equipment
- Outdoor power equipment
✔ Benefits
- Penetrates deep into chain links
- No dripping or sling-off
- Superior water resistance
- Converts to protective grease
- Won't attract dirt and dust
CRC Chain Lube Pro is an adhesive lubricant that penetrates deep into chain pins and bushings, then sets to form a protective coating. Standard chain oils wash away quickly in wet conditions and attract dirt, requiring frequent reapplication and accelerating chain wear.
Key Features
- Deep Penetration Into Chain Pins and Bushings — Liquid formula penetrates the hard-to-reach areas inside chains where standard oils cannot reach, ensuring complete lubrication.
- Converts to Protective Grease — Applied as an oil, the product cures to form a thick, adhering film that stays in place even under load and vibration.
- Superior Water Resistance — Resists wet-weather wash-off and salt spray, providing long-lasting protection in rainy, coastal, and humid environments.
- No Dripping or Sling-Off — Remains where applied without throwing off onto wheels, clothing, or surrounding surfaces — ideal for clean chain maintenance.
- Won't Attract Dirt and Dust — The clean, dry-running formula doesn't collect dirt, sand, and dust like conventional chain greases, keeping chains cleaner and extending service life.

Description
How Chain Lubrication Prevents Wear and Rust
Chain wear occurs when metal-to-metal contact between pins, bushings, and rollers generates friction and heat. Water and salt spray penetrate chains, causing internal corrosion that weakens pins and reduces flexibility. Most chain lubricants wash away in rain or at high speeds, leaving chains dry and exposed. CRC Chain Lube Pro addresses this by penetrating deep inside the chain structure, then setting to form a protective barrier that stays in place through weather, water spray, and extended use.
Penetration Without the Mess
Conventional greasy chain lubricants are thick and sticky, making them messy to apply and prone to slinging off at speed onto wheels and clothing. CRC Chain Lube Pro's unique formulation combines the penetrating power of an oil with the adhesive strength of a grease. You spray it on like an oil, and it flows into every crevice inside the chain. Over a few minutes, it cures into a dry-running coating that sticks firmly to metal surfaces without the mess of traditional chain grease.
High-Performance Additives for Extended Chain Life
The formulation includes anti-oxidation and anti-wear additives that protect metal surfaces from rust and corrosion. These additives work alongside the physical protective coating to guard against both moisture damage and mechanical wear. For chains operating under high load (motorcycles, industrial drives, farm equipment), these additives are essential for maintaining strength and preventing premature failure.
O-Ring Compatible and Safe on Seals
Modern motorcycle and bicycle chains use O-rings or X-rings on the rollers to retain internal lubrication and reduce friction. CRC Chain Lube Pro is safe on these elastomer seals, making it suitable for high-performance chains without risk of seal degradation or failure.

Application Instructions
Clean the chain thoroughly — Use a degreaser like CRC Power Clean Pro to remove old lubricant, dirt, and grime from the chain. Allow the chain to dry completely before applying new lubricant.
Apply liberally to the chain — Spray CRC Chain Lube Pro evenly along the entire length of the chain whilst rotating the wheels or manually turning the chain. Ensure product penetrates into all the links and rollers.
Allow penetration time — Let the product soak into the chain for a few minutes without rotating. This allows the thin oil to flow deep into pins and bushings before curing.
Wipe excess product — Use a clean cloth to gently wipe away excess lubricant from the outside of the chain. This reduces dirt attraction and prevents sling-off at speed.
Allow curing time — Wait 15–30 minutes before operating the equipment, allowing the lubricant to cure into its protective coating. Do not wash the chain immediately after application.
Reapply periodically — Apply fresh lubricant every 100–300 miles (motorcycle/bicycle) or every 1–2 weeks (farm/industrial equipment), depending on operating conditions and weather exposure.

FAQs
How often should I reapply CRC Chain Lube Pro?
For motorcycles and bicycles, reapply every 100–300 miles or every 1–2 weeks depending on weather. Industrial and farm equipment typically needs reapplication every 1–2 weeks. More frequent application is needed in wet, muddy, or salty environments.
Can I use this on O-ring and X-ring chains?
Yes, CRC Chain Lube Pro is specifically safe on modern O-ring and X-ring sealed chains. It won't damage or degrade the elastomer seals, making it ideal for high-performance motorcycle and bicycle chains.
Why does my chain still attract dirt even with this product?
If dirt is collecting, you may be applying too much product. Wipe away excess lubricant after application — the goal is a thin, dry-running coating, not a thick greasy layer. Dirt attraction decreases significantly when excess is removed.
Is this safe to use on my bicycle chain?
Yes, CRC Chain Lube Pro is safe on all bicycle chain types, including modern sealed and unsealed chains. It's particularly effective for bicycles in wet or rainy climates where standard oils wash away quickly.
