Description

The Legendary Formula
Known as Collinite's most legendary product to date, No. 845 is essentially a user-friendlier, liquid version of their heavy-duty No. 476s paste wax. Famous for its versatility and DIY ease of use, “IW” (Insulator Wax) is perfect for tackling both small detailing jobs and large surface areas. It is the ultimate solution when you desire lasting protection and a timely job completion, but frequent reapplication and hard buffing are simply not practical.

Unmatched Defence
Beyond its brilliant aesthetics, this wax leaves behind a durable polymer coating that actively preserves your finish. It acts as a sacrificial barrier against the toughest elements, from harsh UV degradation in the summer to corrosive road salt and snow during the winter. By locking out dust, grime, and environmental fallout, it significantly reduces the risk of staining and premature wear on your clear coat.

Designed for Efficiency
Whether you are a professional tradesperson working through a busy schedule or a car enthusiast detailing on a Sunday afternoon, No. 845 is engineered to save time. The liquid formula spreads much more easily and uniformly than traditional hard waxes available on the market, ensuring you get an even, protective layer across every panel without exhausting your arms.

More Information

Application Instructions

  1. Shake the bottle vigorously for at least 1 minute before applying to ensure the ingredients are fully mixed.
  2. Always apply to a clean, cool surface. If the vehicle is soiled, wash it thoroughly with a high-quality car shampoo first. In warmer months, ensure you are working in the shade.
  3. Spread the wax uniformly over the paintwork using an applicator pad.
  4. Let the product sit for at least 15 minutes until it hazes and dries to a white powder.
  5. Using a plush, clean microfibre cloth, rub slowly to remove the haze and reveal a brilliant shine.
  6. For optimal results, wait 15 minutes after the first application and apply a second coat to high-exposure areas like the roof, bonnet, and boot.

Tip: The areas around the wheel wells are highly susceptible to rust; ensure these sections are generously protected with the wax.
