Many detailers avoid correction work because of the labour and material costs involved. VSS eliminates this inefficiency by combining both functions into a single formulation.

How Diminishing Abrasives Work

VSS uses specially engineered abrasive particles that cut aggressively when initially applied and worked across the paint surface. As polishing action continues, these particles progressively break down through friction, becoming finer and less aggressive. This engineered degradation eliminates the need to rinse away compound and switch to polish—the same product delivers both cutting and finishing in one continuous motion.

Authentic Defect Removal, Not Masking

Some polishes and compounds use fillers and optical brighteners that temporarily obscure swirls and scratches but don't remove them. Application Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the vehicle thoroughly. Use a two-bucket wash method to remove loose dirt, then dry completely with microfibre towels. Any remaining water or contamination will impede the polishing action.
  2. Clay bar treatment (optional but recommended). For heavily contaminated paint, use a clay bar to remove embedded fallout and create a smooth surface for optimal cutting and finishing.
  3. Inspect paint in bright light. Check the severity and distribution of swirls and scratches to determine application pattern and machine polisher speed.
  4. Shake the bottle well. Ensure the abrasive suspension is uniform throughout before application.
  5. Apply VSS to a foam polishing pad. Using a dual-action machine polisher with a foam cutting pad, dispense a small amount of product directly onto the pad.
  6. Work in overlapping sections. Apply the polisher to approximately 2–3 square feet at a time, using moderate to firm pressure and overlapping passes to ensure even abrasive contact and consistent results.
  7. Observe the cutting action. As the product works, scratches and swirls will gradually disappear, and the finish will transition from a hazy cutting appearance to a refined, glossy finish.
  8. Buff away residue. Once cutting is complete, wipe away any remaining polish residue with a clean microfibre cloth to reveal the final mirror-like finish.
  9. Inspect the results. Check the corrected area under bright light. Repeat application on adjacent sections as needed until the entire vehicle is corrected.
  10. Apply paint protection. Once correction is complete, apply a sealant or wax to protect the newly refined paint surface.
