How Nano-Polymer Bonding Works

Unlike traditional waxes that sit atop paint, Jet Seal's nano-polymers chemically bond to the clear coat, forming a semi-permanent shield. This molecular integration means the sealant doesn't simply wash away—it becomes part of the paint's defence system.

Protection Against Multiple Environmental Threats

Paint damage comes from multiple sources: UV radiation breaks down clear coat binders, oxidation dulls colour and creates hazing, water spots leave mineral deposits, and contaminants like bird droppings and tree sap etch surfaces. Jet Seal addresses all of these by blocking UV penetration, preventing oxidation, and repelling moisture and adhesive contaminants.

Application Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the vehicle thoroughly. Use a two-bucket wash method to remove loose dirt, then dry completely with microfiber towels. Any remaining water or contamination will impede bonding.
  2. Clay bar treatment (optional but recommended). For heavily contaminated paint, use a clay bar to remove embedded fallout and create a clean surface for optimal sealant adhesion.
  3. Apply a pre-sealant polish if needed. For older or oxidized paint, a light polish may restore clarity before sealing. Allow to cure per polish instructions before proceeding.
  4. Inspect paint in bright light. Check for remaining swirl marks, scratches, or defects. The sealant will enhance gloss but won't hide existing damage.
  5. Shake the bottle well. Ensure the nano-polymer suspension is uniform throughout before application.
  6. Apply Jet Seal to a small section. Using a foam applicator pad or microfiber cloth, work in 2-3 square foot sections. Apply an even, thin layer—do not over-saturate.
  7. Allow initial setup time. Let the sealant begin to haze (typically 3-5 minutes) before buffing. This varies by temperature and humidity; work faster in cold conditions.
  8. Buff to a clear shine. Using a clean microfiber buffing towel, work each section to a clear, glossy finish. Light circular motions remove any residue and reveal the full gloss enhancement.
  9. Cure between panels. Allow 24-48 hours before washing. The sealant continues to harden and bond during this period.
  10. First wash after 48 hours. Gently rinse the vehicle with cool water and dry thoroughly. Avoid harsh soaps or abrasive contact for the first week.
