The CEuk Tree Felling Plastic Wedge 21cm is designed to improve both safety and efficiency in tree felling operations. Used alongside a chainsaw or felling axe, wedges help direct the fall of the tree and prevent the trunk from pinching the saw bard during the back cut.
Versatile in Use
Not only useful for felling, wedges are also effective during bucking—the process of cutting felled trees into logs. Placed in the cut, the wedge keeps the kerf open, prevents the saw from binding, and allows smoother processing of timber.
Durable, Practical Design
Made from high-strength plastic, this wedge withstands repeated impact while remaining lightweight for field use. The spike notches provide excellent grip once driven into the wood, while the textured surfaces ensure firm handling. Its bright amber yellow finish ensures visibility in dense woodland, reducing the risk of losing it among debris
Ideal Size for Medium to Large Trees
With a 21cm (8″) length and weighing 200g, this wedge provides more lifting force and control than smaller models, making it well-suited to larger felling and bucking tasks.
