The hydrophobic surface not only repels water but actively promotes the shedding of loose dirt and contaminants. Light rain or misting naturally encourages these particles to slide away rather than embedding into leather grain.

UV Protection for Sun-Exposed Interiors

Dashboard leather, headrest areas, and sun-facing door panels face constant UV exposure that gradually breaks down leather's natural proteins and colour compounds. CQuartz Leather 2.0's UV-resistant formulation blocks harmful radiation, slowing discolouration, fading, and the brittleness associated with sun-damaged leather.

Denim Dye Transfer Prevention

Application Instructions

  1. Thoroughly clean all dirt, moisture, and oils from the leather. Use CarPro Inside or equivalent leather cleaner that leaves no sealant or dressing residue. Wipe with a damp towel to remove all cleaner residue if needed.
  2. Ensure the leather is completely dry. Allow adequate drying time before proceeding to coating application—moisture will interfere with coating adhesion.
  3. Draw a line of CQuartz Leather 2.0 onto the sponge side of the applicator block. Apply product directly to the provided applicator pad.
  4. Work Leather 2.0 into the leather carefully. Use firm, even pressure to ensure the coating penetrates all leather grain, creases, and pores. Work methodically across the surface to avoid missed areas.
  5. Allow the first layer to dry. Let the coating flash off for:

    1 hour at 25°C, or
    2 hours at 15°C
    Use a fan as a drying aid, particularly at lower temperatures, to accelerate drying.

  6. Gently wipe off any excess within 2–3 minutes of drying completion. Use a clean microfibre cloth to remove any remaining surface product, revealing the finished coating.
  7. Apply a second layer after. Wait:

    30 minutes with fan assistance, or
    1 hour at 25°C, or
    2 hours at 15°C
    Repeat steps 3–6 for the second application.

  8. Allow adequate curing time.

    Touch-dry time: 4 hours
    Full drying time: 12 hours

  9. Do not clean the leather during the first 3 days. Allow the coating to fully cure before any cleaning or contact to prevent disruption of the coating bond.
