Ambersil HS 300 is a heavy-duty, high-strength spray adhesive engineered for demanding industrial and commercial bonding requirements. Formulated with a Styrene Isoprene Copolymer base, it provides an exceptionally strong bond with a shear strength exceeding 375 N per inch. This makes it an ideal choice for securing heavy-duty items such as warning signs, information plates, and structural components where mechanical fastening is not preferred.

Improved User Safety Profile

Unlike many traditional high-strength adhesives, HS 300 is free from Methylene Chloride and other chlorinated solvents. This significantly reduces the health risks associated with inhalation and improves the overall safety of the workplace. The clear, amber liquid is delivered via a high discharge aerosol system (1.7g/sec), ensuring a consistent and efficient application without the hazardous chemical profile of standard contact adhesives.

Extended Open Time for Large Areas

One of the primary advantages of HS 300 is its longer open bond time. This feature allows technicians to coat large surface areas - such as insulation materials, canvas, or timber panels - without the adhesive drying out prematurely. Despite this generous working window, the product reaches a tack-dry state within 1 to 5 minutes, allowing for rapid assembly once the surfaces are mated.

Multi-Substrate Compatibility

The adhesive is designed for maximum versatility, providing durable bonds across a wide range or porous and non-porous substrates. It is highly effective on chipboard, concrete, leather, rubber, and various metals. Its ability to bond dissimilar materials makes it a staple for maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) operations. While compatible with most surfaces, it is advised to test on sensitive plastics before full-scale application.

Application Instructions

  1. Ensure all surfaces to be bonded are clean, dry, and free from contaminants.
  2. Shake the aero can well before use.
  3. Apply an even coating to both surfaces from a distance of 25 cm to 30 cm.
  4. Wait approximately 1 to 5 minutes until the adhesive is tack-dry (it should feel sticky but not transfer to the finger).
  5. Join the surfaces together accurately and apply firm, even pressure across the entire bond area.
  6. To prevent nozzle blockages, invert the can after use and spray for a few seconds until the spray is clear of adhesive.
  7. Allow 12 to 24 hours for the bond to reach maximum adhesion strength.
