Ambersil Amberglide is a concentrated, high-grade lubricant that utilises a synergetic blend of PTFE and Boron Nitride to provide exceptional anti-friction properties. The inclusion of Boron Nitride enhances the thermal stability of the lubricant, allowing it to maintain its integrity in high-temperature environments where standard oils might fail or carbonise.

High-Temperature Performance

Specifically engineered for demanding thermal conditions, Amberglide remains effective at continuous temperatures up to 180°C. This makes it particularly suitable for specialised applications such as the lubrication of fuser units in photocopiers, which frequently operate between 150°C and 160°C. Its ability to withstand these temperatures without degrading ensures consistent performance in precision mechanisms, electronic equipment, and industrial machinery.

Application Instructions

  1. Ensure that all electrical equipment is completely switched off and isolated before application.
  2. Shake the aerosol canister well to ensure even distribution of the PTFE and Boron Nitride particles.
  3. Apply Amberglide directly onto the components or moving parts requiring treatment.
  4. Allow a dwell time of at least 4 to 5 minutes after spraying to ensure the complete dispersal of solvent vapours.
  5. Do not operate the equipment until the solvent has fully evaporated to prevent potential ignition risks.
  6. For removal or cleaning of the lubricant film, use recommended solvents such as Amberklene FE10, LO30, or Ambertron.
