Application Instructions

Use in well-ventilated area. Ensure adequate ventilation during application to manage solvent vapours.

Remove rust and scale with wire brush. Use a wire brush to remove loose rust, scale, and flaking material from surfaces requiring coating.

Ensure surface is clean, dry, and grease-free. Wipe surfaces clean; apply coating only to dry, degreased substrate.

Shake the aerosol can vigorously. ZG-90 contains solids that settle during storage; shake vigorously until agitator ball is free, then continue shaking for one additional minute.

Shake periodically during application. Continue shaking throughout application to maintain pigment uniformity and colour consistency.

Apply light, even coats from 15–20 cm distance. Maintain consistent distance and use 2–3 light coats rather than one heavy coat for optimal results.

Allow 15–20 minutes between coats. Additional coats can be applied after brief drying interval.

Inspect for complete coverage. After each coat, verify complete coverage with no missed areas or thin spots.

Clear aerosol valve after use. Turn can upside down and spray briefly until only propellant escapes, preventing paint blockage.

Allow full drying before stress exposure. Touch-dry times vary (2–20 minutes); allow longer for full cure before subjecting to stress or harsh conditions.

For tin product, firmly reseal after use. Ensure tight resealing to prevent skinning and maintain product quality.

Remove prior to welding if re-welding required. Strip ZG-90 before re-welding, then reapply after welding completion for protection.
