Completely immerse the item in Evaporust. Ensure full submersion in the solution—no part of the rusted surface should remain exposed to air.
Allow adequate soaking time based on rust severity. Light surface rust may require 6 hours; moderate rust requires 12–18 hours; heavy or deeply pitted rust requires 24+ hours.
Monitor progress during soaking. Check the item periodically (typically every 6–12 hours) to assess rust removal progress.
Extend soaking time for stubborn corrosion. If rust remains after the initial soak period, leave the item submerged for additional time—Evaporust continues working throughout extended soaking.
