The Acme Racing Werewolf Standard Version represents the foundation of Acme’s highest-spec electric RC platform. Designed from the outset for competitive use, this 1:8 scale brushless buggy delivers extreme straight-line speed combined with race-ready handling and adjustability.

Capable of exceeding 50mph as standard, the Werewolf is built for drivers who want top-tier performance with the freedom to upgrade and tune as their skills progress.

High-Power Brushless Motor and 11.1V Li-Po System

At the heart of the Werewolf is a high-output brushless motor, offering significantly more efficiency, power, and durability than brushed alternatives.

Power is supplied by a 11.1V Li-Po battery, allowing rapid energy deliver and explosive acceleration. A balanced Li-Po charger is included to ensure safe charging and long battery life. The platform is designed to support additional battery upgrades, giving the buggy enormous long-term performance potential.

Cooled Brushless Electronics for Sustained Performance

The brushless motor is equipped with an aluminium heat sink, while the ESC features its own cooling fan, ensuring electronics remain within optimal operating temperatures during prolonged high-speed runs.

This cooling system helps maintain consistent performance and protects components from heat-related wear.

Advanced 3-Differential 4WD Drivetrain

The Werewolf uses a shaft-driven 4WD system with front, centre and rear differentials, providing excellent traction, stability and control under power.

A steel-geared centre differential improves acceleration control and balance when exiting corners, while the aluminium centre drive shaft ensures efficient, low-flex power transfer throughout the drivetrain.

Strong Aluminium Chassis and Centralised Layout

The biggy is built on a countersunk aluminium chassis, offering rigidity, durability, and a smooth underside to protect against rough terrain.

This chassis design helps keep mass low and centralised, improving handling response and cornering stability at race speeds.

Adjustable Suspension System

The Standard Version is equipped with oil-filled shock absorbers, allowing adjustment of shock angle and spring tension to suit different surfaces and driving styles.

While the standard model uses plastic shocks rather than aluminium units found on the PRO version, the suspension remains highly capable and upgrade-ready for racers who want to evolve the setup over time.

Steering and Control

A metal-geared steering servo provides reliable torque and precise control, essential for a high-speed 1:8 scale buggy.
The steering geometry is designed to deliver stable, predictable response across a wide range of track conditions.

Adjustable Battery Component

The size-adjustable battery compartment allows fitment of a variety of aftermarket Li-Po packs and supports future upgrades, including multi-battery configurations, making the Werewolf a flexible long-term platform.

Modern 2.4 GHz Radio System

The included 2.4GHz pistol-grip radio transmitter offers fast response, excellent range and interference-free operation. Multiple RC vehicles can be run simultaneously without frequency conflicts—ideal for club and race environments.
