This kit is ideal for anyone who enjoys building models as much as driving them. The assembly process provides a practical introduction to mechanics, drivetrain layout, suspension geometry and electronics installation, making it a popular choice for hobbyists, educational environments and schools.
Construction typically takes 8 to 12 hours, depending on experience level, and results in a fully featured brushless RC truggy ready to race. Once built, the Raptor is every bit as capable as its factory-assembled counterpart.

High-Power Brushless Motor and LiPo System

At the core of the kit is a 2080KV brushless motor, offering significantly higher output than brushed motors while requiring virtually no maintenance. Brushless technology allows sustained high power delivery, excellent efficiency and long service life.
To unlock this performance, the kit includes a powerful 11.1V Li-Polymer battery, replacing the lower-voltage Ni-MH batteries found in standard kits. A balanced LiPo charger is supplied to ensure safe charging and long-term battery health.

Reinforced 4WD Drivetrain

The Raptor uses a 4WD shaft-driven system, distributing power evenly across all four wheels. Front and rear bevel gear differentials improve traction, reduce wheel spin and provide smooth, predictable handling at speed.
This drivetrain design, combined with the brushless power system, makes the Raptor highly capable on dirt, grass, gravel and tarmac.

Adjustable Suspension and Race Geometry

The kit includes independent wishbone suspension with oil-filled shock absorbers on all four corners. Shock angle and spring tension can be adjusted during or after assembly, allowing the vehicle to be tuned for different surfaces and driving styles.
The Raptor’s low centre of gravity aluminium chassis further enhances stability, making it easier to control despite its high speed.

Durable Aluminium Chassis and Components

A solid blue aluminium chassis with countersunk screws provides a rigid foundation and smooth underside. This nitro-style construction strength ensures the truggy can cope with the demands of brushless power and occasional hard landings.
Large truggy tyres and a pre-painted exclusive body shell complete the platform, giving it an aggressive stance and finished appearance once built.

Complete Electronics and Radio System Included

The kit includes a CE-approved 2.4GHz pistol-grip radio system, allowing multiple RC vehicles to be used simultaneously without interference.
Also included are the brushless ESC, receiver, steering servo, wiring, hardware, oils, grease and even the tools needed for assembly—making this one of the most comprehensive RC kits available.

Ready to Run Once Built

Once assembly is complete, all that’s required is 4×AAA batteries for the transmitter. Charge the LiPo battery, power up the electronics and the Raptor is ready to deliver extreme brushless performance.
Due to its speed and power, this model is recommended for ages 14+ and for users with some prior RC experience or supervision during initial use.
