Identify plastic and rubber substrates. Confirm the materials are plastics, elastomers, or EPDM requiring bonding—PR100 is specialised for these materials.

Ensure surfaces are clean and dry. Wipe away dirt, dust, and contamination; allow wet surfaces to dry completely before bonding.

Lightly roughen smooth plastic surfaces. For extremely smooth plastics, light abrasion (120–180 grit sandpaper) improves adhesion without requiring extensive preparation.

Apply adhesive directly from bottle. Dispense a small amount of PR100 directly onto one bonding surface—avoid over-application.

Position surfaces together immediately. With <20 second work time, bring bonded surfaces together without delay.

Apply firm contact pressure. Press surfaces together firmly, ensuring full contact across the joint area.

Hold steady for 30–60 seconds. Maintain pressure and alignment as initial set develops—motion during holding interferes with cure.

Release after initial set. After 60–90 seconds, the bond is sufficiently developed for careful handling without joint separation.

Avoid stress during 24-hour cure. Although initial set is rapid, avoid pulling, twisting, or loading bonded assemblies until full 24-hour cure is complete.

Use clamping for critical applications. For load-bearing or high-stress bonds, apply fixtures or clamps during the 24-hour cure period for maximum strength development.

Store properly for performance. Cap the bottle securely immediately after use; store at 4°C to maintain adhesive performance and shelf life.

Test on inconspicuous areas if needed. For specialty plastics or unknown materials, test bonding on an inconspicuous area first to confirm compatibility before critical applications.
