Use 3M Polyolefin Adhesion Promoter for strong adhesion of 3M flexible parts, plastic repair materials, and superfast plastic adhesive.
To ensure strong adhesion of 3M flexible parts, plastic repair materials, and superfast plastic adhesive, use 3M™ Polyolefin Adhesion Promoter for the repair of polypropylene and ethylene propylene interior and exterior parts. We’ve designed our adhesion promoter specifically for plastic that is identified by the mould marks PP, EP, TPO, or EPDM. Spray our adhesion promoter lightly after grinding. Allow to dry for 15 minutes before applying adhesive.

Application Instructions
• Degrease the surface using 3M™ VHB Surface Cleaner 08986 to remove any oil or
grease on surface
• Grind the surface of the actual damage using a Scotch-Brite™ Roloc™ Disc tapering
about 3 to 4 cm around the actual damage.
• Prepare the area around the tear with 3M™ Cubitron™ II Abrasives 220+/240+ and
clean with 3M™ VHB Surface Cleaner 08986.
• Apply one coat of 3M™ 05917 / 05917TF Polyolefin adhesion promoter over the
sanded surface and allow to dry for 10 minutes.
