9. Maintain moderate pressure — The soft foam and fine-pore construction mean light to moderate pressure is optimal — excessive pressure increases heat generation without improving results.
10. Allow sufficient dwell time — Allow adequate time on each section for the fine polishing action to work on swirls completely.
11. Avoid excess polish — The waffle design holds the right amount of polish — avoid adding excess that would cause rippling or uneven gloss development.
12. Wipe away residue — Once polishing is complete, wipe away polish residue with a clean microfibre cloth, revealing the swirl-free high-gloss finish.
13. Final inspection — Examine the finished surface under various lighting conditions, particularly side-lighting that shows swirl marks most readily, to confirm complete swirl elimination.
