RX-90 Red Oxide Anti-Rust Primer is a fast-drying protective coating for use on all metal surfaces.
The modified alkyd resin binder and anti-corrosion pigments present protect against rust and provide an additional anti-corrosion layer for subsequent topcoats.
RX-90 exhibits strong adhesion on degreased, bare metal surfaces and is paintable with all on-component paints after 1 hour.
RX-90 can be welded through.

Industrial MRO-structural steel, gantries, outside equipment and machinery.

Trade/Pro-DIY - railings, roofing and spouting, gutters, outdoor fixtures, fences and gates.
Directions for Use
- Use in a well ventilated area.
- Remove any rust and scale with a wire brush.
- Ensure that the surface to be coated is clean, dry, and free from grease.
- RX-90 contains solids which settle during storage: shake the can vigorously until the agitator ball is free, and continue shaking for a further minute.
- Shake the can periodically during application.
- Apply in light, even coars from approximately 20cm - best results are obtained with 2 light coats rather than one heavy coat.
- Additional coats can be applied after 15 - 20 minutes.
- When spraying is finished, clean the aerosol valve by turning the can upside down and spray until only propellant escapes.
- Do not use on energised equipment.
