Application Instructions

Shake the bottle well. Mix the natural active ingredients thoroughly by shaking for 10–15 seconds to ensure uniform formulation distribution.

Ensure the vehicle surface is dry. Apply TarX to clean, dry paint surfaces. Water or moisture reduces effectiveness—allow recently washed vehicles to dry completely before application.

Spray directly onto tar or sticky residue. Holding the spray bottle upright at approximately 15–20 cm distance, apply TarX directly to the contaminated area, saturating the tar or residue.

Allow reaction time. Let the natural active ingredients react with the tar for 2–3 minutes. This dwell time allows chemical dissolution without requiring aggressive agitation or extended waiting.

Brush or wipe if necessary. For stubborn tar deposits, use a soft brush or cloth to gently assist in breaking down and removing the residue whilst the TarX is still active. Avoid aggressive scrubbing that could damage paint.

Avoid extended dwell time. Do not leave TarX on the paint for more than 7–10 minutes total; prolonged exposure may affect clear coat. Monitor the application and proceed to wiping once tar begins to dissolve.

Wipe away dissolved residue. Using a clean microfibre cloth or disposable cloth, wipe away the dissolved tar and TarX residue with straight-line or gentle circular motions.

Inspect for complete removal. Check the treated area to confirm all tar and sticky residue have been removed. If traces remain, repeat the spray-and-wipe process.

Wash with car shampoo. Once tar removal is complete, wash the treated area with mild car shampoo and water to remove any remaining TarX residue and prepare the paint for protection application.

Dry the treated area. Dry the washed area completely with clean microfibre towels, leaving the paint clean and ready for wax or sealant application if desired.
