Superior Dielectric and Mechanical Properties

The coating is formulated to provide exceptional insulating properties, boasting a dielectric strength of greater than 80kV/mm. Once cured, the film remains flexible, ensuring that it does not crack or delaminate under thermal stress or mechanical vibration. It maintains a volume resistivity of >10^13 Ωcm, providing a reliable secondary insulation layer for coils and transformers. This insulating capability also serves to reduce operational noise in electromagnetic components by fixing windings securely in place.

The thixotropic, low-viscosity nature of the liquid ensures thorough coverage even in complex geometries. For high-volume industrial requirements or automatic spray systems, the product can be thinned using Ambersil Acrylic Conformal Coating Thinners to achieve the exact viscosity required for uniform film thickness. The transparent nature of the dry film allows for easy visual inspection of components, while its durable adhesion (Gt 0-1 on copper) ensures long-term reliability even after exposure to temperature extremes ranging from -40°C to 100°C.

Environmental and Chemical Resistance

Application Instructions

  1. Upon Pre-clean the PCB thoroughly using Ambersil PCB cleaner to remove all grease, dirt, and flux residues.
  2. Ensure the work area is well-ventilated and free from all potential ignition sources.
  3. Conduct a compatibility test on plastic housings or stress-cracking susceptible materials like polycarbonate before full application.
  4. Shake the aerosol can well and spray from a distance of 20 30cm onto the dry, degreased surface.
  5. Apply in even strokes to achieve a target dry film thickness of 20-40 μm.
  6. Upon completion, clear the aerosol valve by inverting the can and spraying until only propellent escapes.
  7. Allow the film to dry for at least 20 minutes before handling; full mechanical properties are achieved after 24 hours at ambient temperature.
